It's August and the summer is coming to an end.  School shopping, hair cuts, and the smell of school supplies is in the air.  Oh how I loved the smell of new school supplies!  I very clearly remember shopping for and organising my school supplies.  Ticking off items on the paper list provided by the school and choosing binder colours that matched the classes - Math was always blue.  I digress. 

I had a great time photographing this family who chose August for their annual photo shoot.  I was able to spend individual time with each boy and even captured some special moments with only the parents.  We had great weather and having their images from this shoot meant they didn't need to depend on school photos working out, the images could be more personal and include pets and their home/land as a backdrop.  Additionally, they had plenty of time to order photo products for Christmas gifts and were able to take advantage of the October pre-order Christmas card sale.  As I write this I am beginning to realise why August is such a busy time for photo shoot bookings.
